This policy explains what Chinese Zodiac (chinesezodiac.pro) collects when you use the site, why, and who handles it.
What we collect
Dates you enter. When you enter a birthday or another date, we use it only to look up the matching Chinese zodiac year. We do not put it in page addresses, save it in our database, or send it to analytics.
Your sign, in your browser. If you look up your sign or choose “Save as my sign”, the sign name (for example “Goat”) is stored in your own browser so other tools can preselect it. You can clear it by clearing site data in your browser.
Account information. Signing in is optional. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google and keep them to run your account.
Usage information. Like most websites, our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested to deliver and protect the site. We may measure how the site is used in aggregate.
Emails you send us. If you write to support, we keep the conversation to answer you.
How we use it
To provide the tools, keep your account working, answer support requests, keep the site secure and understand which pages are useful.
Who we share it with
Service providers that run the site for us: website hosting and database, sign-in (Google, only if you choose it), and email delivery. We do not sell personal information and do not show ads.
How long we keep it
Account information is kept while your account exists. Support emails are kept as long as needed to help you. Dates you enter in the tools are not kept.
Your choices
You can use every tool without signing in. To ask about or delete account information, email support@chinesezodiac.pro.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13.
